Doula and FertilityCare

I grew up in Western KS and reside still in KS today! After graduating high school I set out to Denver to attend the Denver School of Massage Therapy where I obtained my license! Upon returning I got married and began doing massage, specializing in structural/injury massage. As I continued massage education I took fertility, pre, post, and labor massage (not a doula but similar and attended births). While that was happening I was approached about becoming a Creighton FertilityCare, which opened the door for me to help more women and more knowledge! Several kids and years later I am back at it! I love being able to support women in this journey and give them their voice back because along the way unfortunately women have lost their voice in the hospital and what were once suggestions some how become “mandates”. As a doula provider I encourage every woman/couple to look and dig deeper, deciding what they want and what is best for their family. As a Creighton FertilityCare Practitioner I help women/couples assess and track their fertility, what this means is I help educate on how to use the system to avoid or achieve pregnancy-thats right, achieve! Most of my Creighton clients are trying to achieve and are having fertility issues but do not wish to use the ART means to achieve. I work together with a Napro (this is important) physician. They go through special training and have different protocols than normal OB or family practice. They also hunt down the root cause to treat you and don’t just throw meds at you. Over the years and my own pregnancies I have gained a wealth of knowledge and referral base!
